We're Helping Young People to become Self-Sufficient 

Want to be a Under Our Wings or Armor Mentor?

Before deciding to be a mentor, there are a few expectations and requirements to understand about the role of ECS mentoring. Most of us have had positive influences throughout our lives, those people have stream of different social and career paths within the human services field as care providers, social worker, or educators, managers, ministry workers, mental health or wellness and life coaches, Those individuals were our inter-independent resource as advocates, cheerleaders, delegators, role models, law or regulation enforcers, even  friends or significant others. Mentors assume these different roles during a relationship, and share some basic qualities:

• A sincere desire to be involved with a young person

• Willingness to teach independent living skills with biblical principles

• Respect for young people

• Active listening skills

• Empathy

• Ability to see solutions and opportunities

• Flexibility

Enrichment Coaching Services and Associates, Inc requires all interested in mentoring to meet the following requirements:

• Be at least 21 years old

• Be willing and able to make at least a one-year commitment to the program

• Be willing and able to meet with your mentee consistently (varies by program)

• Possess a valid driver’s license and current car insurance

• Have a safe driving record (no DUIs within the past three years; no more than two moving violations in the past year)

• Never been convicted of a felony

• No illegal drug use currently or within the last twelve months
